UNIVERSITY COMMONS ON EAST GLADES ROAD JUST EAST OF THE I-95 INTERCHANGE HAS BEEN SOLD FOR $80.5mm TO JACKSONVILLE-BASED REGENCY CENTERS.


 



University Commons, an “open air shopping center” has been purchased by Regency Centers who owns other similar properties in southeast Florida.  One hundred percent leased, it includes one primary building with four outparcel buildings and 1,156 parking spaces, barely enough to cover the demand at peak times.
The 22.4-acre center is 100 percent leased to Whole Foods Market, Nordstrom Rack, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond, PF Chang’s, J. Alexander’s, Mario’s Osteria, and Shake Shack.  Regency currently owns 321 shopping centers in most major US markets with nine in southeast Florida.  Florida Atlantic University is across the street and Boca Regional Medical Center a few blocks away.

University Commons is a premier retail center with great location, top tenants and is attractively designed.  This Whole Foods is one of the busiest in their chain.
